I hope I'm in the right place. Today, the New York Times Book Review has yet another article on Austen, this time non-fiction.
You may recall that Austen will be shown on Britain's 10-pound note starting in 2017. Now the watercolor that served as the basis for the banknote image is itself up for sale. It's a rather disturbing trend that Austen artifacts are going onto the market instead of being preserved.
