In Response To: If you look at the manuscripts ()

This manuscript seems to be edited with crossing outs which is not what Claire asked about. Are there any examples of writing that have the underlining for emphasis rather than for replacement? It seems the logical way to go about it in handwritten script rather than italics but it would be good to see it 'in situ'.
