] I confess, I am all astonishment at Spencer's post (ignorance is not bliss) ;-) I had no idea there were so many woodland terms. Anything to help me visualize would be really helpful!

I do realise that a list of terms is not the easiest thing to digest or visualise, but I will be posting more on the more important woodland types individually. I just thought it might be useful to have a glossary to to begin with for reference.
