New to Pemberley?

Hi and welcome to Pemberley. If you will click on the graphic to the right ("Are you new?") it will take you directly to Newbie Orientation. There you will find links to the FAQ, which is a font of all kinds of useful information, and much more to help in your navigation of Pemberley. Then please introduce yourself on the Newbie Board, so that we may get to know you better.

Pemberley is a large site and can be a bit overwhelming at first, but walking the Newbie Trail will greatly aid in your acclimation to this Jane Austen haven.

Please note also that we do not help with "homework " of any kind, whether it it be for writing papers, writing fiction or for anything other than understanding the life, and the writings of Jane Austen. We do have a published homework policy , linked below.

We do have an archive of previous discussions on this board, which is linked to the top of it, by the two chatting ladies. You may find something of interest in there, if you wish to look, but please remember that this is general discussion, and we make no claim for academic acuracy.
