Jack you seem to have a good command of maritime-naval terms,I have a broadside 'To the inhabitants of Ramsgate' by my g.g.g.g grandfather concerning a slight against his maritime career and I have no idea what the terms mean,or what the broadside is actually about.Maybe you can shed some light.
