The International Festival of Film on Art is going on in Montreal this week, and I am thinking of going to see a British documentary film called "The Real Jane Austen" (2002), directed by Nicky Pattison. I have some reservations, because the description talks about "dramatic reconstructions", which I am not crazy about, plus I suspect I know most of the biographical information already. Has anyone else seen this film, and what did you think of it? Thanks for letting me know!
