I just want to say thank you......

We are gearing up to reading NA, and the talk about JA's life seems to have slowed down to a trickle, so perhaps it is time to call it a day. We can talk about JA's life any time, of course and looking back over the last two months, there are some interesting ideas that have been started but not finished. No doubt they will surface again some other time.

As with all good M.T.'s It always is a bit of a rush to get everything in, and this one has been particularly rushed, it seems. There has been a good reason for it this time; Anielka, who knows more about JA and her family than anyone else on earth, I think, has been on a deadline, and will shortly disappear from Pemberley for a while. She has three very good reasons for disappearing, ;-) and I wish her the very best with them! I'm sure she will pop in when she can. So I want to officially thank Anielka for her help with this topic, as she has helped with all the M.T.s to date.

I would also like to thank Lief, who took the list of questions I made up as preparation for this topic, and has done his best to come up with some kind of an answer for every single one of them! He's put in an amazing amount of time and effort, wrestled with the unanswerable, and come up with ideas and questions for further research. Lief, that is an amazing achievement! Thank you very much for all your posts.

Then there's the ongoing saga of Military events and how they affected JA and her family. Captain Everett has been researching this stuff for several years, and his "JA and the Wars" series of posts have been eagerly anticipated. Jason tells me that he's still got a great deal more to say on the subject, and when real life lets him get on with it, he will produce more for our delight. Jason, I'm sure it will be worth waiting for.

Lastly, I'd like to thank all the rest of you who took time to answer other people's questions, including mine. Answering questions, providing information, and generally teaching others is a much harder task than just asking, as you well know. Such efforts are invaluable- if there were no answerers, this board would fold flat in a day. I am constantly amazed at the way people return to this board help out others where they can, and just hope that their interest continues.
