John urges Catherine to make ready for a carriage ride to Claverton Down, another beauty spot just outside Bath. Today Claverton Down is covered by the University of Bath Campus, but i found some aerial views which still give a good idea of what the trip might have been about. The "Down" is the hill, and in some of the photos you can see Bath in the distance.
