When Maria marries Mr. Rushmore, younger sister Julia accompanies them--bride, bridegroom, and Julia--in the carriage from the wedding, on to Brighton, then to London. It seems highly unusual that a younger sister would go on the "honeymoon" -- was this just because Maria actually despised Mr. Rushmore and wanted company, or was it actually acceptable in JA's time?
