We're sure you didn't

<a href="[] src="/emote/ramt.gif" align=left hspace=8 vspace=4 border=0></a>] I apologize, I didn't mean to offend anyone.
What people have said to me they respond to about this article right now is that sense that the US has international support. It also says that the US should get more credit than it often does for reaching out to others in need.
My first copy of this came last Tuesday, and before noon CST. The world had not come out so very, very, very strongly in support yet. People were feeling attacked and defensive. So this article that comes to the defense of the nation felt good to read--somewhat vidicating.
I'm certain you didn't mean to offend. You were one of thousands of people who read this and forwarded it--as Janette said, her paper printed it without researching. Let's start an equally strong campaign to respond to everyone who sends it to one of us that tells them this is not exactly what they think it is--OK?
