] Among the shelves, behind the desks for information and lending, everywhere I saw people stop and bend their heads.
] My daughter - some of you have met Katrin - told me she had been ordered to go through with this on her preschool, children that are 4 and 5 years old. She was hesitant to force knowledge upon their innocent little beings, but it turned out some of them had heard something, not very much, but that people were hurt and dead and that firemen were doing a difficult job. They stood in silence but for one girl who whispered. I feel sorry for US.
] It is of little significance in the whole of it but I thought some of you might like to know how one library and one preschool in Sweden tried to show their sympathy.
It is of a lot of significance to me, Ann. We have paused several times just like this at our school in the past week--all the kids from kingergarten to Gr. 9. We are having another prayer and reflection time first thing tomorrow morning.
I, too, hate the idea of putting a shadow on their innocent little lives. I hesitated to allow my 6 year old to see and hear about this on TV. The thing that gives hope for and is going to conquer this terrible thing that has happened is the show of sympathy by so many around the world, old and young alike. And I somehow think that the prayers of children are heard very clearly.
A {hug} for all those little ones, your daughter and you.
