Found this one record on Elizabeth Wentworth whom I think might be a source for JA's naming

"Elizabeth Wentworth Countess of Bath was born about 1470 in of, Nettlestead, Suffolk, England. Parents: Henry Wentworth, Baron Despenser and Anne Say. She was married to Roger Darcy then Thomas Wyndham then John Bourchier"

Wentworth and Darcy are obvious connections. Less well known is that the Wyndhams were related to the Pitts and the Knatchbulls (neighbourhood acquaintances of the Austens). JA was also related to the Bourchiers.

Anyone know anything? How did she become Countess of Bath (which husband. Also, is Anne Say, (her mother) related to Lady Say and Sele, distant cousin of JA's (and mentioned in her letters)
