One of the great things about this board, and the people who post here, is that they are excited and fascinated by Jane Austen and her life and times, but also by so many other things that it is terribly easy to start going off at a tangent.

I just wanted to say thank very much for these guidelines. The degrees will make it easier for everyone to remember what is and is not relevent for this board and to keep focused and not go off message.

Caroline, your contributions to this board are much more than just the administrator. You have led some fascinating discussions and steared us into Jane Austen territory no one had ever thought of. Please don't give up!
