I've found this fashion plate at ebay, and I am wondering now what this lady is doing with her hair. It looks as if she is dressing it, but I've never seen a fashion plate like that before. Normally people shown on these plates stand or sit as to present the worn clothes in the best way possible. And I've always thought that women in the regency usually had shorter hair than shown in this picture. All in all, a very remarkable plate. Any thoughts on it?
