If you are looking for data - real historical data as opposed to the basic statistics provided by JA's books, then you will be disappointed. In terms of births per mother, and financial status, there doesn't seem to have been a great deal of difference between the richest and the poorest families in the land. Presumably there was a great deal of difference in the families' ability to provide the necessities for their offspring.
