Since the few conduct books that I have acess to do not have anyhting to say on the subject of napkins, I can only offer a silly , but traditional rhyme that is vaguely nineteenth century....

"Arise! Arise, and leave your bed!
Get up, you lazy sinner!
We need those sheets for table cloths-
And it's almost time for dinner!"
