...that Darcy/Fitzwilliam would have left her in poverty. Wickham obviously believed that no matter what Darcy's feelings about Wickham, the money would still be there. I was just curious if his certainty came from a legal reason or more from his conviction that Darcy wouldn't abandon his sister.
