That's exactly the kind of connection that I was hoping for, Dee! thank you! Can we assume that Emma would have been interested in Calligraphy as an art form, do you think? Despite not being a great artist, she has a strong general artistic sense.... I can imagine her being very interested in things like home furnishings, dressing Harriet, and copying out nice pieces of poetry onto good papaer to put in a scrap book, the way Harrriet copies out riddles.
