Ladies Boarding School

Below are the terms of a London ladies’ boarding school which is probably a step below “one of the first private seminaries in town” that was attended by Caroline Bingley and Mrs. Hurst (as reported in chapter 4 of Pride and Prejudice).

Here is the text for the subjects they teach, taken from the bottom half of the advertisement:

Music, Dancing, Drawing, Writing & Accounts.
Geography with the use of the Globes at
One Guinea per Quarter & a Guinea entrance each
Italian 2 Guineas per Quarter and One
Guinea entrance.
