ThePoor Basket was filled clothes for the poor and needy, made by the ladies of the house for later distribution. And as for Mrs Norris breaking her back…I don’t think so. I think she is being her usual vile self and making much of her work, to try and belittle Fanny. Bravo to Julia and Edmund for their responses to the tally of unthinking and neglectful treatment she has received at the hand of the two sisters, Mrs Norris and Lady Bertram that day.
