Searching the net for Romney's work I came upon a namesake: Anne, The Duchess Of Cumberland. In her hand is a book much in the same relaxed fashion as can be seen in the P&P2 Darcy portrayal. And isn't her position divested of the stiff formality designed to impress the beholder? Just like Darcy is. There is still dignity but sort of more human.
