] Faith, as the saying goes, is the evidence of things not seen but hoped for. :-) We may be all guessing, but I have to start with the presumption that things (and people) are what they seem to be until proven otherwise.

It's easy to fall into that trap. I just asked 'why do we want her to be so good?' I now realise that I fell into the trap myself. I want her to be 'good'. That's why I am feeling uncomfortable about your view of her. But it's not quite that simple. I want her to be both good and bad. Just like most of us are. (I mean of course as I am).
