Re: Cassandra not burning letters..

] So I think we should absolve Cassandra of the charge of burning the letters. I highly recommend the Modert volume of facsimiles of JA's letters; it is delightful to see just how they were written, as well as read their intriguing contents.

Thank you for your interesting information Mary.
You highly recommend the book of facsimile letters. Does it mean I wonder that they are easily readable? Are the quality good emough
so they can be read without a magnifying glass?
The volume is rather expensive i think so it would be good to know
before we buy.

About Cassandra not burning the letters. She might not have. But she still destroyed many of them didn't she? At least D.Le Faye believes so in her 1995 edition of the JA Letters. Or you don't mean that they could have survived and disappeared in some other way? Could there even be a chance that they still exist, laying covered in dust and cobweb in some attic, waiting to be discovered?
My imagination is carrying me away,I can almost see them now.
Discovered by me. What a sensation !
